Compressive Strength Test

We use a high-precision electro-hydraulic servo universal material testing machine to simulate the high confining pressure and impact load environment downhole, conducting quantitative tests on the static compressive resistance and dynamic load capacity of PDC composite sheets and cutter matrices. By accurately obtaining core data such as material yield strength and ultimate bearing capacity, we ensure the product maintains structural stability without fragmentation and no attenuation of mechanical properties under high-pressure working conditions such as deep drilling and hard rock formation, providing core guarantees for operational safety and continuous drilling.

Impact Resistance Test

Aiming at the core working edge of the cutter, we carry out special tests including drop hammer impact and repeated impact to simulate sudden loads and collisions during drilling in complex formations. We quantitatively evaluate the material toughness and chipping resistance to fundamentally eliminate failures such as edge cracking and chipping, enabling the cutter to maintain stable cutting even in harsh formations such as alternating soft and hard layers and fractured zones, and significantly reducing the risk of operational interruptions.

Wear Resistance Test

Through high-speed grinding and simulated cutting tests, we continuously test the wear rate and cutting efficiency of PDC edges under controllable working conditions, accurately verifying the material's wear limit and service life performance. This ensures the cutter maintains a sharp cutting state during long-term drilling operations, reduces tool change frequency, improves overall drilling efficiency, and lowers comprehensive operational costs.

High Temperature Resistance Test

We place the product in a high-temperature furnace to simulate extreme high-temperature formation environments such as hot dry rock and deep geothermal energy, conducting thermal stability and thermal shock resistance tests. By monitoring the microstructural changes and performance attenuation of materials at high temperatures, we ensure that the bonding layer of the PDC composite sheet does not fail and the edge performance does not degrade, maintaining reliable cutting capacity even in high-temperature operating scenarios, and adapting to special energy exploration needs.
